The Challenge
Active Iron's marketing data was scattered across five disconnected platforms - and nobody had the full picture.
The team was toggling between Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Shopify admin, and MailerLite - each with its own interface, its own date ranges, and its own version of the truth. Reporting was manual: exported CSVs stitched together in spreadsheets, always a week behind.
Operating across Ireland and the UK added another layer of complexity. Performance metrics needed to be segmented by country, but doing so manually was time-consuming and error-prone. The team couldn't quickly answer basic questions: "How did our Irish campaigns perform vs. UK this week?"
They needed a single source of truth - a real-time, always-on platform that could pull every channel together, filter by market, and surface the metrics that actually mattered. Not another static PDF. A living dashboard.
The Solution
Unified Marketing Command Centre
We designed and built a custom web application that pulls live data from all five marketing platforms via secure API integrations. No more tab-switching. No more stale exports. One URL, every metric, always current.
Multi-Market Filtering
Every data view supports country-level filtering - Ireland, UK, or combined. Shopify orders, GA4 traffic, ad performance - all segmented by market at the click of a button.
Campaign Objective Splits
Meta Ads metrics are split by campaign objective - Awareness vs. Conversions - so CPC and CTR are only shown where they're meaningful. No more muddied averages across ad types.
AI-Powered Analysis
Built-in AI generates written performance summaries and strategic recommendations based on live data - for Google Ads, Meta creative performance, and cross-channel trends.
Intelligent Traffic Classification
Raw GA4 source/medium data is automatically cleaned, relabelled, and grouped - ChatGPT and Perplexity visits are classified as "AI" traffic, LinkedIn referrals as "Organic Social", and subscription platform hits are properly attributed. Duplicate sources are merged. The result: a clean, accurate traffic breakdown without manual intervention.
